Naiads are virtually maintenance-free on a month-to-month basis; however
seals will occasionally need replacing and bearing will go eventually.

If the Grand Banks and Offshore you are suggesting can achieve planing
speeds and you do not intend long offshore passages, I opine no fins are
needed. The Krogen will need them regardless due to the chine-less hull form
(I am proud ex-owner of hull #4218).
