T&T: Sonic Mate

There is a device on the boat I purchased earlier this year that is called a
Sonic Mate electronic anti-fouling system.  There are a number of audio
transducers attached to the hull throughout the bilges.  Most of the wires
have corroded off the transducers.  I am wondering if this device has any
value, does it work?  It is built by Bolster Products in Anaheim, CA.  I
find nothing with google about either the device or the company.
