T&T: Tandem Anchor question

the two anchors?"

Earlier this year Beth Leonard (I think) wrote an article for Cruising World
on anchoring with two anchors.  They had a well thought out plan.  They
shackled a length of chain approximately equal to the water depth, as well as
a piece of small rope.  This way when the main anchor is up and stowed the
tandem anchor is ready to come aboard.  They grab the rope and pull the tandem
anchor up rather than pulling it up by the chain.  Hopes this helps.
