T&T: Trailable trawler

We have a couple, Brad and Sherrill, on our dock - he works for West Marine
and she for Argosy casino - who live, full time, on a Hunter 23' sailboat.
In winter, they cruise down the rivers to Florida to jobs there and return
to our little basin in the spring. Each morning we see them making the
ablution trek to the marina facilities and they are quite social, incredibly
generous and favorites on the dock. While I, at this point in my life, don't
think that I would like to do it, I do admire their commitment to such a
life.

I guess Bill & Ell living aboard a 22' C-Dory for over 10 years is a  myth !

 
We have lived aboard our 22' Bay for two weeks at a time and only came home
because of work.
I realize this isn't nearly the same as full time live aboard, but I think
it can be done.
Besides Bill & Ell we have known others , who have live aboard in small
boats. 
I once lived in a 17' camper in my hippy days.
 
 People like us are a simple people and don't require a lot of luxury.
Which is good, because in my life, my career always took a backseat to
exploring this world , so I won't be retiring rich, but will be retiring
with big  plans.
 We will need  a small economical boat, to accomplish  this.
