I run both my gen sets off of one thru-hull, a 10kw and a 15kw, and
have run both of them at the same time with no lack of cooling or one
starving the other, so you may well be able to run the stabilizers
off of the gen thru-hull. Have a one way valve handy to install in
the line between the gen and stabilizer pump as the gen may starve
the stabilizers if it is closer to the thru-hull and has a more
powerful pump. I just teed the cooling line at the first gen, the
small one, and it works fine. I did change the pump on the 15 kw to
match the 10 kw so I only had to carry one spare; they are the same
engine, just one had a $550 pump and the other a $250, and there is
no difference in operating temp.
