T&T: splitting a raw sea water intake

I run both my gen sets off of one thru-hull, a 10kw and a 15kw, and  
have run both of them at the same time with no lack of cooling or one  
starving the other, so you may well be able to run the stabilizers  
off of the gen thru-hull.  Have a one way valve handy to install in  
the line between the gen and stabilizer pump as the gen may starve  
the stabilizers if it is closer to the thru-hull and has a more  
powerful pump.  I just teed the cooling line at the first gen, the  
small one, and it works fine.  I did change the pump on the 15 kw to  
match the 10 kw so I only had to carry one spare; they are the same  
engine, just one had a $550 pump and the other a $250, and there is  
no difference in operating temp.
