T&T: cut wrong transducer wire

another screw up.? when replacing my hummingbird sx100 depthsounder that was one of many casualties in last months lighting strike,? I inadvertently cut the wrong transducer wire. You can't make it up.? Can I splice the cut transducer wire.? It is also for a humming bird SX100 mounted on the bridge?? Both transducers are in hull mounts siliconed to the bilge.
