T&T: Full Time Cruiser or Livaboard?

Al:  I don't yet own a boat but I am contemplating buying one.  Let me pose
a hypothetical situation.  I am based in Florida.  Does your statement mean
that I need to notify my insurance company if I am going to take a cruise
to, say, the Virgin Islands?  If I do this cruise, will my premium be
affected?  If so, how much?



What about the opposite situation?  I'm based in Florida but take the boat
north during hurricane season.  Does this mean I get a discount on my
premium?
