T&T: Full Time Cruiser or Livaboard?

Well I started this with my reply to R. Lee, and must defend what I
said.

The key words below here are "and are now cruising full time". I
never implied directly or indirectly to lie or falsify any statement.

We are in the same boat, pardon the pun, and am selling our house and
buying a boat to cruise. The advice, repeated by me, was given by one
very helpful insurance broker after outlining to him and several
other finance co. and insurance co. what we were doing and being
turned down by these co. I had been using the term "living aboard
full time". After taking his advice, and using the term "cruising
full time" magically these same people would talk to me.

Right or wrong, there are finance and insurance co. that are biased
toward "live aboards". I am not a lawyer and do not know how having
or not having a 12 month contract with a marina changes the fact that
I am a full time cruiser.

I too am still wondering what the definition of liveabord is for
these co's.

Planing on cruising full time..
