We have used them for years on the aft cabin of our Krogen 38 Cutter with
excellent results. The major drawback is the necessity of going out on deck
to remove them before closing the hatch. A very wet operation during a
squall at night (when else?). We have not gotten one (yet) for the Trawler
for that very reason, plus we are usually closed up at night--AC you know
:-))! Have it on the long list, however.
