T&T: Calculating the cost of ownership

First, thanks again to all who responded to my previous post about large
guys (me) and small engine rooms. I have received a lot of very valuable
information and I am most grateful to you generous folks. Now I have
another question perhaps you can help me with.
I am trying to get a sense of the cost of trawler ownership. I have seen
some rule-of-thumb percentages (such as 10% of the purchase price per year)
bandied about in various places but these strike me as being too vague to be
of any real value. I would like have something that details most of the key
cost factors (such as slip rental, engine and hull maintenance, annual miles
traveled, fuel price per gallon, etc.) and allows me to plug in my own
values for these variables to see what the bottom line cost is.
This is a perfect situation to develop a spreadsheet model. I can make
Microsoft Excel sing, dance, and do back-flips but I hate to put a lot of
time and effort into it if such a spreadsheet already exists? If so, I
haven't been able to find it despite a whole bunch of Googling.
So, does anyone on this list know if such a spreadsheet exists and where I
can find it? If not, I'll do it myself probably with input from you
gentle readers.
