The 5.5 KW version came with our boat.  The PO purchased it with weight and
size as criteria.  He had no problems with it that I'm aware of.  It had 100
hrs on it when we purchased the boat and we've put over 100 hrs more on it
with no problems.

Ours is so quiet that you can hardly hear it on the boat alongside when
rafted.

Bought the 4 kw a few years back. IT was LOUD! not quiet. Inside of a mouth
the shut off solenoid broke. The Guys in marathon who sells them sold me a
used  part at new prices. FWIW.
Otherwise, it was simple enough , small, light weight. and otherwise ok.
