T&T: Changing John Deere Raw Water Pump Impeller

I've found a flat blade screwdriver can help. Stick it part way in between a 
pair of vanes. Press the blade against the shaft part of the impeller and 
use the housing of the pump as a fulcrum to work the impeller out. Pulling 
with a needlenose plier on an opposing vane at the same time helps create a 
wiggling action.

Using a plastic wire tie or two to squeeze the vanes of the new one always 
helped me get it back in.

Jiggling will help much more than giggling. This is no laughing matter.

And don't be afraid to use sailor talk as necessary.
