T&T: Advice on Equalizing..

One other thing--- the shop also cautioned us against turning on any
12vdc accessories-- lights, radios, etc.-- during the equalization cycle
as the voltage being pumped into the batteries is pretty high and there
would be a risk of blowing bulbs, damaging a radio, etc.  We put an
AC-powered fan in the back of the engine room blowing toward the
batteries in the front of the engine room and open the forward engine
room hatches and some cabin windows.
