T&T: AMPs question

I have a question for the group.  I have two 325 amp batteries (big Rolls)
paralelled that should give me 650 amps for my inverter.  I don't think I'm
getting that many amps out of them.  Is there a way I can test the system to
determine if I am actually getting 650 amps using a multimeter, or some
other measuring device?  If so, how do I do that.
