T&T: Xantrex battery temp sensor

I am installing my new batteries and my new Xantrex True Charge 40.  I have 
a battery temperature sensor....which battery should I connect it to?
There is one stand alone starting battery and two that are the house bank. 
I wonder which one would heat up first?
I can only install the temp sensor on one battery.
