You can buy gallon jugs of vinegar at Sam's Club and I'm sure that WalMart
and other stores have it as well. I don't recall price but it was only a couple
of dollars a gallon.
I've used vinegar to clean heat exchangers and their associated plumbing for
several years. I usually leave it in overnight. Start the engine up the next
day and watch the whiteish colored calcium deposits flow out the exhaust
water. Works great.
