      Hope you took no offense to my previous post.
   
  Jim, I used a guy named Jerry Hudson(I don't remember the name of his company).  He gave me a great price and his credentials all checked out.  He was also very easy to deal with and provided an absolutely no hassle experience.  I paid $4200 from LI, NY to Houston Texas(30x11x10000lbsx8ft tall....a Mainship Pilot).
   
  Another issue is if you google search or use people off of Yachtworld, most of the time you will be getting ahold of a broker.  They are a pain in the azz to deal with and it requires a lot of calls and calling back not to mention they are gonna take their cut so your price will not be as good.  Try to deal directly with the transport company.
