I am very familiar with ozone generation having used them in the industry I
make my living in for the past 35 years.
Commercial units (capable of making very high concentrations of O3) for fire
damage repair are an excellent example Ozone (O3) working to quickly oxidize
contaminates.
Peggy accurately states that concentration levels of ozone have to be above
public health standards to effectively kill bacteria, pathogens, or organics
in the air.
Ozone is 10X stronger than chlorine but O3 a contact killer with a half life
of a nanosecond, that is why you do not have an ozone system as a stand
alone sanitation device in your hot-tub, albeit your chlorine requirements
are lower with O3 not to mention the delivery is quite different in water.
Source Control and Outdoor Air Venting is your best bet to odor control.
Perhaps Air cleaning with an electronic air filter system would enhance your
air quality. But first address the Source for success.
