 I am NOT an official of this site!
 However my procedures may be of use to you.
 First. The use of the "Reply" button is for 
direct communication with the original poster.

Second. If you want your response to be shown to 
the entire group the only way to do that is to 
create a new message (with the appropriate 
previous portions copied and pasted) in a new post 
to the entire list via the normal posting address.

 That is the way I've been doing it for a year 
now, and it does seem to work just fine...
