T&T: Rudder Toe-In

Can someone point me to a reference that explains in detail the theory and
application of rudder toe-in?  I understand that there needs to be some toe-in
to eliminate chatter but how does one determine how much and in what
direction?  I have never seen any discussion of this in any text and I wonder
if there are any standard "rules" on this or if it is very hull specific.
