T&T: Shurflo Pumps

Cigano's freshwater is supplied by a Shurflo  smart sensor 5.7 GPM pump and,
on the whole, it does alright. Works good in the shower and can hold up to two
faucets at the same time. Only problem is when you initially turn it on you
don't get that shoreside whoosh for, say, blasting mud off the anchor.

The manufacturere suggests against using an accumulator. Does anyone know the
reason for this? Has anyone used an accumulator and if so, what was the
result?
