I added a Balmar 165 amp alternator to the starboard of my GB32 w/ 800AH of
House bank along with a 3 stage smart regulator. It has been one of my best
additions. I have a 65 amp for my starting batteries.
Keep in mind that your cables will have to be sized to handle the load of
this high output alternator. There is a rule of thumb about sizing your
alternator to your house bank. The Balmar site has information you may find
valuable. http://www.balmar.net/
