T&T: Problem with West Marine 15 inverter/battery charger

Bob,
Sounds to me like the load transfer switch is going bad, this is like a
solenoid driven switch that allows the shorepower to the inverter and then
on to the AC panel if wired this way.

I like Ron's idea of taking it back to WM for an exchange.

Can hear the unit "click" when power is applied. After about 
10 seconds, the unit clicks again, and it and the control panel cycle 
off and remains off for a minute or so; then both cycle on and the 
sequence starts all over.


Assuming that the bank is properly charged (so as not to be causing a 
low battery shutdown), what else should I be looking for/at?
