We were up at Shearwater, BC a couple of years ago and all the shops had clear plastic bags of water hanging in the doorways. They claim it keeps the deer/horse flies out. We've tried it on the boat. Seems to help but who knows for sure? Hard to figure out a reason why it should work. Steve Anderson
