Bob,
I think 5/8 is too large. We used 5/8 last year in our
first year with the 40 Albin and there is not much
elsticity.
As others have suggested I believe 1/2 would be much
better and I'll be changing line sizes this season.

I'm thinking
5/8"
3-part twisted nylon would probably be better for
absorbing shock than
3/4" since it is going to be doubled into a bridle
that is lead into
both haws-pipes on either side of the bow to keep the
bow centered,
more
or less.
