T&T: A great Horse Fly weapon

I must admit that this looks like a great invention!!
I notice that some use 2 AA and some use 2 D cells.
If anyone finds one that uses, 6 D cells or maybe a Group 31, let me know.
If it is banned in California, that would be great!
