T&T: Prescription Drugs for vessel master?

There seems to be misconceptions on this topic...  What makes folks think that drugs found in a boat are viewed any differently than drugs found inside the spare tire in a car?
   
  First, scheduled drugs ('Scheduled Drugs' is a term with legal and regulatory definitions) have to be in a properly labeled (by the pharmacy) container and must be in the possession of the person named.  You found clutching a vial of narcotics in someone elses name is a crime...   You having a bottle of injectable narcotics is likely to get you into very hot legal water and possibly imprisoned for life in some countries (Thailand, for one).  I would tread very carefully on this.
   
  Second, you cannot order drugs (in the USA) by showing a copy of your masters certificate, or whatever... You need a proper prescription from a licensed physician... 
  Now, most antibiotics, salves, creams, ibuprofen, ASA, iodine, splints, bandages, etc., will not raise any eyebrows in most countries.  Insulin, blood pressure meds, nitroglycerin, gout medicine, and so on, will be OK as long as they are in properly labeled containers and are in your name... Syringes must have a prescription label on the box as some countries are very strict...
