T&T: Prescription Drugs for vessel master?

I am not sure of the legals in your country but here in Canada the  
prescriptions have to completed by a certified medical doctor (GP or Ships  Surgeon). 
When we planned our cruise we involved our doctor(s) in detail re  family 
history and personal concerns. In fact he along with the pharmacist  worked out a 
very complete medical supply for us. In addition both my wife and I  took 
medical training courses that were recommended by the doctor and the  pharmacist 
and available to the public. This was most necessary if we ever  required to use 
some of the specialized items in this medical supply kit. Having  it and 
being able to use it could make a difference to our  health.  Regards. Leonard
