Scott,

Wow!

I had mine made for 6 hours labor by a local sail maker in Chicago. I
provided the material.

It was the same material that is used on the sides of trucks.

Lasted years, more durable and the fabric was cheaper than sunbrella.

I had the sail maker just sew in a heavy line around the edge and
used that to cover the tender.

Does $1,300 for a Sunbrella Dinghy cover sound exorbitant to you? The
tender is a 10.5 foot AB with a tiller Yamaha on the stern. The
quote just
sounded a bit high to me. Someone mentioned buying the fabric and
having a
cover made in Mexico. I hate to export a job but I also hate to pay
2 or 3
times what it would cost if I just wait a few months.
