In terms of cost, there is also the Yahoo newsgroups service which is free
to create and maintain, offers an email broadcast service identical to
Samurai and also categories and archives all posts and responses made by
members of the newsgroup.  

Groups.yahoo.com 

There should be no reason to be paying for an email broadcast service any
more when a superior product is available gratis.
