T&T: Canvas Cleaning

"Does anyone have any advice on getting this green stuff off without
scrubbing
the life out of the canvas?"

Ron:

A bucket of hot water, a cup of liquid tide, a cup of bleach, and a quarter
cup of TSP. Scrub with a soft brush, and rinse well. I do not think TSP is
now environmentally right, but there is a substitute. Ont the other hand,
take the canvas home an clean it on the lawn,,,,the mix will make the grass
grow better.

This makes a good over-all boat cleaner, even gets the wee black spots off
the gelcoat.
