I just replaced one of my CruisAir units, it was less than one year old. At
this point we have not figured out why it failed. The company did send me
the new unit (to Kota Kinabalu) at no cost.
For those of you who travel outside the US make sure the unit you purchase
will run on both 50 & 60 Hz. My old unit was this type but the new unit is
rated for 60 only. When the new unit arrived I contacted the company to
inquire about this and they told me to install it and if I had any problems
they would send me another unit. Apparently, they can no longer get the
components from a suppler so that they can make units that will run on both
50 or 60.
