T&T: CANbus Software

Many of the modern electronically controlled engines use a CANbus to distribute telemetry.  Murphy makes some great displays for the CANbus and are the units that came with my John Deere.  Murphy has just introduced a new larger display unit that provides more information on one screen in a much more intuitive manner--but it's expensive.
 
Has anyone come across a software application that can read and display CANbus information in manner similar to Murphy?
