T&T: NORCOLD - A very unhappy customer

A few days ago the door handle broke on my Norcold Refrigerator, Model
No.:DE0061R (it came installed on my new trawler purchased 8 months ago).  I
sent an email to them asking about purchasing a replacement (all the while
thinking it would be covered by the warrantee).  I received a very short
answer telling me that they did not sell to the public and I needed to go
through a dealer.  They provided a web site that listed the dealers.
Unfortunately for me, none of the dealers are located in Asia.  I wrote
back, explaining that I was in Asia and asked for assistance in locating a
dealer who would have a replacement handle.  I RECEIVED NO RESPONSE AND AM
NOW A VERY UNHAPPY CUST0OMER WHO IS UPSET WITH THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER
ASSISTANCE.

 

Just thought you should know if you are considering the purchase of a
Norcold appliance.
