T&T: 1) Alternatives to 8D batteries are ? 2) How are the Odyssey Batteries?

Will 6V forklift wet cells fit where the 8Ds are now? (Would 2 in  
series be enough to start one engine?)

Might the Rolls module 8D battery fit and maybe you will only need  
one, vice 2?

Does the genset really need an 8D to start, or would a 4D / Group 31  
also do?

You did not mention your house bank. What is that made up of?

We have 5 8D batteries onboard our 53 foot trawler. Two for Port. Two  
for
Starboard. One for Genset....
