T&T: great cruising books, great litterature

someone mentioned "The Logbook from the Sea of Cortez" by John Steinbeck, a
book which I have read many times and enjoyed immensely.  It made me wonder
what else is out there that you all are or have read that I would like.  I
add to the Steinbeck, the Hemingway compilation book on fishing, Sterling
Hayden, Wanderer, and many more.... what has really moved the list?  It
would be good to add to the library.
