I don't have a problem with the US water going into the tank, I just have a
problem drinking water out of the tank, even if a little bleach has been
added to it.
Listers have even descibed how to shocktreat your tank annually in order to
drink from it. I'm still uncomfortable doing that. So we buy gallon jugs of
water for 69 cents, 12 oz bottles for the flybridge cooler for 50 cents each
at case rate, and use the tank water for showering, washing dishes, and
brushing the remaining tooth, spit don't swallow.
