T&T: Random Coast Guard safety inspections

I dont get it.
You know exactly what they are looking for, its well documented, most
of it actually makes sense to have/do anyway.
<shrug>

My first year I got boarded 4 times, every time it was a new crew. I
guess they all wanted their chance to see  my boat. :)
No biggy; they boarded, I offered them drinks and sandwiches, they
politely declined. They wrote me up once ($100 fine) and gave me a
couple of written warnings. Pretty helpful actually.

I think that this year I am going to schedule a courtesy inspection
and get it over with up front. :)
