T&T: Wireless Access Gateway

Dale, from what you're describing here it sounds like exactly what we've
been looking for on our boat. But it also sounds as if it's meant more
for (as in the case of your town) municipalities that wish to enhance
their signal for their subscribers, because of the spread capability.
If we were to use the device, would we not be opening up whatever signal
we're receiving to everyone on the dock? And if the signal is borrowed,
would this weaken the input to the original recipient or anyone else?

 >Our marina is in a town that has city-wide WiFi but the location of our

 >The product is from Ruckus Wireless (www.ruckuswireless.com) and
 >combines a wireless access gateway and an indoor access point into one
 >product called the MetroFlex DZ. The device will receive the weaker
 >city-wide Wifi signal and then allow multiple wireless devices to
 >connect to it to obtain an internet connection.

 >building down the street.

 >I bought mine through www.streakwave.com for about $120.
