So we got to the boat Tuesday AM and were in the water with her in the early
afternoon and slept aboard that night. We put the boat away with all the
spring cleaning done, so it was REAL easy to get into shape this year as long as we
had our four children ages 20, 19, 18, & 15 with us, "hey Laura do this, you
Jay do that" you get the picture. As adults we choose not to waste the benefit
of having youth available to us.

It's Friday and were off, I give the helm to Aaron once we are off of the
Winter Harbor dock, and I don't touch it again until a little over 5 hours later
when we dock at Sodus Bay, a bit of the Erie Canal, all of the Osewgo Canal
and about 24 miles on Lake Ontario from Oswego to Sodus bay. The boat performs
flawlessly. I on the other hand need to go to bed early. Laura is going to
rowing camp in upstate NY next week, for one week, and we need to get her there
and pick her up, so we are traveling slowly not looking for distance early on.

Regards,
Capt. James and Patti Clausen, MV Summer School
Cruising the Lake Ontario, Rideau Canal, Trent Severn Canal,
St. Lawrence Seaway, and Georgian Bay, the Summer of 2007
