T&T: Two VHF's, one Antenna? Possible?

No - not through a Tee.  You can use a coax switch to connect the
antenna to either radio, one at a time - but then you have to remember
to switch the antenna to the radio that you intend to use.

Could you replace the unwanted antenna with a 3db wire whip, as used
at the top of a sailboat mast?  That may pose less of a hazard, or
perhaps could be mounted elsewhere - it would be less obvious than the
usual 6dB antenna.
