We usually anchor out when we travel the ICW but make an exception for
Atlantic City. Admittedlly the rates at the Farley/Trump marina make it an
expensive
overnight but the facilities are excellent. The last time we visited the
rates were $3.50 a foot. I am sure they are even higher now. On the other hand
staying at the marina gives you an automatic membership in the Trump Casino
preferred player plan. You can get subsidized meals while you watch hordes of
day
trippers feeding the slot machines. The marina also provides easy access to
the
boardwalk and its delights. We generally take a jitney to the southern end of
the boardwalk and walk back, dropping a few bucks in each of the casinos
along the way. Trying to spot all the Monopoly street names provides a nice
diversion between gambling stints. If we are lucky we treat outselves to a
gourmet
meal at the fancy Trump Casino resturant. If not - well, we still own our
boat.
