what size boat ?

i was under the impression that chilled water system were only practical on 
larger boats... 60, 70 + range ?

while smaller boats (under 40') often have all in one units located thru out 
the boat (downside is the noise in living space and running raw water lines 
thru the boat), mid size boats have split systems with the 
compressor/condensing units in the ER and fans/evaporators where they are 
needed.  unlike chilled water sytems, gas is sent from the ER to the air 
handlers, instead of water.
