T&T: 10 KW Northern Lights Genset.. And the horizontal oil filter.

Old trick from my motorcycle days, where horz oil filters are common.  We 
use to poke a hole in the bottom of the oil filter, and let the oil drain 
out into a small pan.  Then taking it off was not an issue.

Never had a solution for pre-filling it.
