Part of the polar bear problem in Churchill is the bears congregate there
and wait for the ice to form so they can head out and hunt seals. With the
current warming trends, they ice is taking longer and longer to come in
which means the bears are in the area for longer.
Now, if I remember my history correctly, Churchill is there because has
something to do with the ice coming in on Hudson's Bay. It may be the most
northern harbour that remains ice free for the longest time.
And, polars have no enemies and are not afraid of man.

Do you realize that in about 40 years we will have thousands of old ladies
