Subject: T&T: Bone dry bilge pump

The low spot in my bilge is inaccessable to a standard centrifugal bilge
pump.B I want to suck that baby bone dry.B

I believeB I remember reading thatB I shouldB install a belt driven
diaphram pump.B I also remember that one type is lots of trouble the other
is not (or less).B Any recommendations? I will leave my high flow
centrifugals in as backup.

I want to just put an intake hose down in this tight spot in the bilge and
remote mount pump.B How much lift can I expect to get on the suction side
for my remote mount?

Oh,B my earlier posts had extraneous characters.B Any suggestions on that
problem too?

Thanks,

Wayne
