Hi Guys.....

We finally have our boat in our home port and don't know
nothin'....including about chandleries and skilled workers here! In the spirit of "one is never
really done".....

#1 any thoughts on good boat yards in the SF Bay Area? We still have
several projects on the list -- any good recommendations for boat yards?? Skilled
Independent workers??

#2 we want to have some interior teak work done (e.g. floors sanded and
revarnished - the dings from the cans dropped need to go!) Do you know of
anyone locally who does good work?

#3 we will be here for the summer....any recommendations for some
day/weekend cruises from you veterans here??? We'd like to do some short trips
before we take off full-time....particularly with our local friends who haven't
been able to be a part of our cruising life, thus far. Any ideas would be
greatly appreciated, especially those trips that make new guests feel comfortable
and at home.

Thanks to all of you for your input....we've been list members since we
started looking for a boat in 2002/2003. We've found that we referenced this
lists' reco's more than once (or was it a thousand times?) in our cruising the
PNW and Alaska.

And, OHmygosh.....it can happen!

Don't give up the dream!

advise when decision is made??)
