T&T: macerator

I would disagree that the Sealand pump can run dry for hours. I tried this
inadvertently (forgot it was on) and it started smelling that wonderful
electrical smell. I would say it was running dry for less than an hour. With
my NEW pump, I am more careful. I do agree that it is the best macerator pump
available.

No, but I can suggest a better pump if you want to consider it. A Sealand T
series diaphragm pump can handle almost anything without clogging, and can
run dry for hours without damage (not that you would do that). Much more
  reliable than a macerator pump.
