I have had a problem obtaining my fuel an oil filter numbers for my Perkins 
M30, circa 1993 engine.  The PO did not record the numbers in his log, lost 
the owners manual and accidentally installed a fuel filter in place of the 
oil filter on the engine.  I wanted to start at "ground 0" with the proper 
numbers and then try to find the corresponding Napa filters.  Foley engines 
would not share the numbers but instead responded with,
"Thanks for your email. Yes, we can help.
We stock these filters and could ship today. Please call us toll free at 800
--------- to order.
Best,
Dr Diesel"

and Trans Atlantic Diesel responded with the numbers and the Napa cross 
reference number for the oil filter.  Sheri Moon was the person that 
responded to my email and was very helpful in other correspondence to assure 
me that the fuel filter in place of the oil filter has been done before and 
there was no residual effect...but change it as soon as possible.

So, a high recommendation for Trans Atlantic Diesel and Sheri Moon for great 
customer service with no expectance of a purchase from the correspondence.

BTW...Perkins must guard these numbers closely due to the fact that I 
searched the internet for hours with no luck to find the information.
