T&T: Debugging an electrical problem

UPDATE - 

I realize people are probably tired of hearing about my electrical
issue and I've pretty much just come to accept it.  But after being on
the boat again this last weekend, there are a couple more variables to
throw into the mix.  I'm convinced this is a problem with the dockbox,
but I can't prove it.

If you recall, I originally posted this as a problem with the stove not
getting hot when on dock power, but it is fine under generator power. 
When I measured it at the "Ship/Shore" switch on the boat it appeared
to be proper under load or not.  (240V H-H, 115V H-N)

This weekend I learned that the hot water heater does not work and the
hand-held hair dryer does not work (well).  I also noticed that the
Heart Interface display reads Incoming Amps as 30A, even though I'm
plugged into a 240V/50A service.

I don't know much, but I would have expected a voltage drop when
turning the stove on if it wasn't getting the proper amperage.  I saw
no such drop.

I'm confused, but I'm come to just accept it.  We will be leaving this
slip in October, so I'll just have to put up with it until then I
guess...
